Pushy and Tushy are albino frogs. They come to the fish tank right from the pet store. The other inhabitants of the aquarium are many gold fish saved from a drying pond. The big and wise fish Mr. Brown tells the forgs about the Real World with its freedom and beauty. They ponder Mr. Brown's tales and decide to find the Pond in the real world and make it their home. Pushy and Tushy jump out of the tank and escape into the forest. They would get completely lost if not for the help of the friendly mushrooms who show them the right way to the Pond. The albinos want to embrace their 'relatives,' but the green frogs that live in the Pond don't accept the newcomers - because they are pink. Pushy and Tushy learn about "Survival of the fittest".
